Get to know Archè
Archè is a Social Cooperative created in 2005 by a group of ten founding members. The cooperative came about during the construction of an accessible sailing boat. Since then, Archè has been committed to the inclusion of vulnerable people, including children, young people and people with disabilities. Our mission is to promote wellbeing, quality of life and independence through innovative, inclusive educational programmes.
Our educational approach is guided by the use of movement-based methodologies, with a particular focus on outdoor water-based activities, which are an important element of our cooperative. These approaches play a fundamental role in the development of motor, cognitive and relational skills.
Archè also works closely with families, Social Services and schools to provide educational support at home and in school settings, where everyday life unfolds and where navigating daily challenges can sometimes be more difficult for vulnerable people.

On 6 October, 10 founding members established Archè and began developing the prototype for an accessible cabin sailing boat.
On 26 June, the Archè sailing boat embarked on its first voyage. Moored at Porto San Nicolò in Riva del Garda, it can accommodate up to eight people, including two wheelchair users, allowing everyone to experience sailing.
We began co-managing the Ekon Nautical Centre in San Cristoforo di Pergine Valsugana. Together with Am.Ic.A SCS and three Dragon Boat teams, we started offering accessible water-based activities on the lake, beginning with SUP surfing and accessible dinghy sailing.
We launched the first edition of the Missione Lago Pulito project, now known as Nostro Lago Blu. At Archè, environmental sustainability goes hand in hand with social sustainability, and we understand how important it is to look after the area in which we operate.
We started looking into the benefits of outdoor movement-based activities for people with autism spectrum disorders.
We purchased a new Malupa 5.0 accessible sailing boat, allowing wheelchair users to enjoy sailing experiences alongside their loved ones on Lake Caldonazzo.

Noemi Filosi

Federico has worked with people with ASD for almost 10 years, despite only being a few years older himself. Passionate about the outdoors, chatty and a keen sailor, he’s the perfect person to break the ice.

Educator and SUP instructor. A self-confessed reluctant athlete, Stefania is endlessly creative when it comes to helping people have fun and grow together.
