VOLUNTEER WITH US
At Archè, volunteering is about taking action. It’s about choosing to make our community more inclusive and join a project where sport, the lake and shared experiences become tools for breaking down barriers.
We’re looking for people who are ready to get stuck in, whether that means handling the ropes of a sailing boat or spending an afternoon together in town, bringing curiosity, practicality and openness with them.
Where you can make a difference
Your time and contribution can have an impact across three main areas, each with its own unique vibe:
- The Ekon Centre (San Cristoforo): here, life follows the rhythm of the water. You will support the team during accessible kayaking, SUP and sailing activities. You may work both on shore and in the water, helping to prepare equipment, assist boarding and accompany participants throughout the experience. This is active, hands-on volunteering, where your support helps make independence possible for others.
- The wind of Riva del Garda: the scenery may change, but our goal remains the same. On board our sailing boat in Riva, you will join a crew sailing with people with disabilities. Here, volunteering is about knowing how to share space on board, work together and contribute to a safe and inclusive sailing experience.
- Autism and free time: not everything happens on the water. Some of our most meaningful work involves accompanying neurodivergent people in leisure, sporting and recreational activities throughout the year, from weekly training sessions to Friday evening dinners with friends. Here, your role is essential in helping to build bridges with the outside world: an outing, an evening together or a shared experience can become a valuable opportunity to develop social skills and independence.
Why volunteer with us?
We offer an experience that changes perspectives.
- Hands-on learning: you will always work alongside professionals from the social and sports sectors.
- Real impact: you will immediately see the impact of your support, whether it’s a smile when someone gets to steer an SUP board independently for the first time, or the achievement of a small but important step towards autonomy.
- A genuine community: you will join a network of people who believe in cooperation and the value of diversity.
Ready to come on board?
You don’t need to be an experienced sailor or an education professional. What matters most is your presence. If you would like to learn how your time can make a difference across Lake Garda, Lake Caldonazzo and our local activities, we would love to hear from you.
We look forward to getting to know you and helping you find the right role within our crew.
